| Jurassica 2, is an outstanding unique and mature
30 acre gravel pit, located only 2 hours from the port of Calais in the
heart if the picturesque Picardie region. 2005 see's the start of the
second season for this exciting venue.
Our amenities include English toilets and showers which are located in
our unique lodge. An underground bunker converted into a dinning area
and chill out room with TV, HI-FI, plus Playstation2®.
The bunker also features a charging station with English plugs, for your
bait boats and portable DVD players, etc.
Food is available with several options. Full English breakfast, evening
meal and pudding, which can be eaten in the lodge or delivered to your
swim. Hot and cold snack menu also available.
There are boillies, pellets and particles available on site with a selection
of terminal tackle p.v.a bags, weights etc.
Jurrassica2 has high banks which gives the angler some excellent viewing
advantages of the features concealed within its crystal clear waters,
such as gravel bars, plateaus, weed and silt beds.
The layout of the lake is quite unique with three bays and two points
one of which is some 70m long making some very interesting places to fish.
We have a maximum of 10 anglers at any one time on the lake giving you
lots of space to enjoy the entire feature in front of you.
Most of the swims that are evenly spaced around the lake are double swims
and have been back filled with chippings making conditions good all year
round for fishing.
The depth of the waters range from 2' to 15' with holes and gullies littering
the bottom of the lake, as you will see from the bank side or from your
very own boat... Yes we do allow boats, but strict rules do apply so that
you and you friends can enjoy this facility.
Jurassica2 is stocked with a good head of carp ranging from 15 to 58lbs.
It is very healthy water with many other species of fish apparent including
some big cats to 80lbs, making a great range of fishing available.
